Join us on November 12, 2022 for our annual fundraising gala dinner!

Drink well and do good by supporting the Glancy Wine Education Foundation at San Francisco Wine School's 11-Year Anniversary Celebration the evening of Saturday, November 12, 2022!

This event will feature our ever-popular SFWS Sommelier Olympics, luxury wines from all over the world and a silent auction full of unique wine items and experiences you won't find anywhere else! Everyone will have a blast watching today's top sommeliers go head-to-head in a lighthearted blind-tasting competition and wine knowledge challenge designed by Master Sommelier David Glancy.

Guests will arrive to a bubbles & bites reception to kick things off. Then we'll all cheer and taste alongside this year's competitors, Paul Carayas, Wine Director for Michelin Star Chez TJ in Mountain View and Lindsey Young, Lead Sommelier for Michelin Star Selby's Restaurant in Atherton. They'll go head to head in our annual blind tasting competition, wine trivia challenge, and wine service race. The evening will culminate with the ultimate food pairing competition - a multi-course tasting dinner presented by the competing sommeliers who have both carefully selected pairings for our meal. Which will be your favorite?

All event and auction proceeds will benefit the Glancy Wine Education Foundation, providing scholarships for low income and minority students looking to start or advance a career in wine or hospitality. Preview this year’s silent auction lots. The auction goes live on November 4th!
